Conker ( Brendonhill Symphony )

Conker has been gelded this season as he found the stress of trying to be a Stallion and competing just too much. His temperament is straight back to normal and he will be bought on ready for next season. he showed exceptional ability over fences and has paces to impress. this horse has all the makings of a superstar and breeding to match.
He was shown as a foal and yearling and was unbeaten every time out. He was champion foal every time shown and Reserve Supreme Champion at Dunster Show beating many top County show horses. As a yearling he was Champion sport horse at North Devon County Show and finished Supreme Champion at Exford.
Conker is by It’s Without Doubt who is by Welton Louis out of Doubtless who is half sister to Priceless. Doubtless is by Ben Faerie. He is out of a Baron Blakeney mare called Mrs Sym.
It’s Without Doubt has sired many good event horses such as Billy Whizz, Doubting Thomas III, Doubtless William, Spirit of Mae & Sir Toby (Boekelo winner 1999, Sydney Olympic contender). Dressage horses include Walter (one of the very few British bred Grand Prix horses, Smooth Talker at Prix St Georges level, Chancer, plus many others.

17hh Bay gelding by Archie out of Jazz ( Welton Ambassador ) This straight moving young horse has the most amazing extravagant free moving paces. He has competed in BE young stock classes as a four year old and will be lightly hunted over the winter ready for next year.
Joss has taken everything in his stride and has an amazing easy going temperament. He will be an excellent prospect for competing next season and will do very well in the Five year old classes.

Logan, (Cowling Prince Charming)

17hh Bay gelding By Archie and full brother to Lilly. Logan has grown into a big free straight moving horse with an exceptional temperament that all of Archie's foals seem to have. He was ridden as a four year old by Sara Bowe and was never unplaced in all his BE four year old classes with a 26.5 dressage at Richmond at the end of the season.
This horse has loads of scope and will excel in any sphere. He will make an exceptionally talented competition horse for the future.

Gizmo (Cowling Wee Free Man )

16.2hh Grey gelding by Archie out of Gem. His dam was a very experienced event horse in her own right despite only being small. Gizmo has been bought on slowly as he has been slow to develop and we decided after breaking to give him another year out to grow and concentrate on the others.
This has worked as he is a far stronger horse now. he will be bought up this winter and will be ready to start as a five year old. He has a an unbeatable kind temperament and I am sure will share both his parents abilities.

16.2 Bay mare by Archie. Has evented successfully as a five year old at BE100. She is very bold cross country and usually within the time, her show jumping faults have been her riders (my) fault as making a comeback after nine years I have been a bit rusty and after some show jump training it is clear that I have been knocking fences not her. Lilly has a tremendous jump with plenty of style and ability and her fathers temperament as well.
This is a very good horse with masses of potential for the future.
Shy, (Cowling Faere Play)

16.2 Bay mare by Archie out of Storm ( ex Java Tiger ) this little horse has been evented as a five year old by Sara Bowe and after a slightly confusing start is now living up to her breeding.
Shy has an exceptional bold cross country and is now jumping like a superstar. She has successfully competed BE100 and five year old classes. She has huge potential to go far.
She shows lots of presence on the flat as well as jumping and is easily making the times. She is ready to start next season and I have no doubt she will storm ahead and go far. Shy would make an exceptional young riders / juniors horse.

16.2hh, 5 year old (2008) bay Mare. By Away with the faeries out of Ayston Tava who competed to Intermediate (BE) before retiring to stud.
Sage (Cowling faer and square) was lightly backed in 2011 showing a willing, trainable attitude. Following rider pregnancy she was placed with a local producer Sara Bowe to further her education and begin her competitive career.
Sage has had five outings this season and has been placed each team. She won her section in the BE90 at Kirkley Hall with a 23 Dressage and has since upgraded to BE100 where she continues to be in the ribbons. Sage will be competing in Novice classes towards the end of the season.
This horse has an exceptional temperament and is proving our thoughts that Archie, (Away with the Faeries) has the ability of instilling his laid back, kind and willing temperament onto his foals along with improving on the broodmares abilities with his careful and athletic jump and loose movement.
Sage would make an excellent JRN/under 18’s horse or equally for a professional to take up the grades.
