Outstanding temperament and Bloodlines of ability

Archie is one of the kindest easy going stallions I have ever known. His unique temperament and attitude along with his loose movement and athletic jumping ability makes him an essential sire in producing a modern competition horse for any sphere.

This outstanding Stallion was foaled in 2003; He is the only stallion standing by the late Brendon Hot Rumour. Being a grandson of the great Ben Faerie he is from similar lines to Priceless, Nightcap, Primores Pride, Walk On Star and many other top competition horses in all spheres.

Hot Rumour who had a successful eventing and dressage career as a young horse then returned to become a master’s horse for Diana Scott on Exmoor for no less than fifteen seasons. He sadly died in February 2011 leaving Archie as the only stallion continuing his line.

His dam Highmoor Royal Dawn was shown successfully as a young horse and evented successfully until a tendon injury retired her to stud, she is by Dixi who stood at Busk hill with Max Abram after a successful racing career retiring sound after 86 races.

The Highmoor lines bred by Ken Horner are responsible for some top show jumpers such as Channel Five and Sanyo Video and many successful young show horses.

Archie has five years of foals now and it seems that the most dominant attribute that he is passing on to his foals is his calm easy going temperament along with his unique and unbeatable free loose movement and easy athletic jump. It seems that he can calm down foals from even the hottest mares.

We are offering concessions to quality competition broodmares, graded mares and also local proven quality hunt mares from our area.
